Atlantis Resort Bahamas
The Atlantis Resort is a legendary and lavish property on Paradise Island, near Nassau in the and just a hop from Florida. vacationing at the Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island, has achieved a distinctive combination of comfort and adventure unlike any other vacation destination. The Atlantis resort features services for children, families, honeymooners and couples of every kind with thousands of guests each month. If you're looking for peace and quiet or a variety of activities and excitement, you will find it at the Atlantis Paradise Island.
Atlantis Resort is located on 34 acres in the best spot of all, on Paradise Island, 1/2 mile offshore from Nassau, just across the harbor from where all the big cruise ships dock. Atlantis Resort contains more than 2,000 rooms in three main towers and the one you choose will affect how you feel about the resort and the overall vacation experience you have. Atlantis Resort Hotel is mega huge, bigger than many hotels in Las Vegas and the largest in Nassau.
Restaurants
There are 17 restaurants, plus 18 lounges & clubs, featuring an incredible variety of dining, also entertainment, scattered throughout the resort. Dinner reservations are required at most restaurants. All outdoor restaurants and indoor bars or lounges permit smoking, however, smoking is prohibited at all indoor restaurants. There are many different types of restaurants at the Atlantis for all different budget levels and taste. Most restaurants are casual and jackets are not required in any of the restaurants. Atlantis Resort Paradise Island has over 30 restaurants, and a few nightclubs at Atlantis, so it's unlikely you'll ever get bored looking for a place to eat. There's also plenty of great restaurants outside the Atlantis hotel, simply ask the bus drivers and taxi drivers for recommendations of local restaurants.
Rooms
The Beach Tower, located at the far eastern end of Atlantis Resort, has the most affordable rooms. The Beach Tower does not offer guest suites, only single rooms with either one king bed, or two double beds. The rooms at the Beach Tower have the following amenities: full balconies, sitting area, service bar, 1 king bed or 2 double beds, irons/ironing boards, hairdryers (on request) and in room safes.
Coral Towers are located between the Royal Towers and the Beach Tower and feature mid-priced hotel rooms at the Atlantis in the Bahamas. The rooms at the Atlantis Resort Coral Towers are more mid-priced, but are clean and comfortable.
Royal Towers contains the top-tier rooms and amenities. The rest of Royal Towers offers guest rooms or suites, water views from every suite, with a sofabed in the living area. The most elegant accommodations at Atlantis, the Royal Towers are noted for impeccable service, sumptuous rooms and suites, and sweeping views of the ocean, harbor and Marina, pools and waterscape, or gardens. The rooms at the Royal Towers feature full or French balconies, sitting areas, service bars, king or 2-queen sized beds, irons, ironing boards, hair dryers and in room safes.
The Atlantis Resort has a total of 2,300 guest rooms with rates starting at $215.00.
Amenities
Atlantis Resort's 11-million gallon marine habitat includes nearly a dozen different lagoons. Atlantis boasts the world's largest "aquarium", with 100,000 fish from 150 species.
The Sports Center at Atlantis Resort features ten tennis courts, a lap pool, basketball and beach volleyball courts, and an 18-hole golf course.
The Casino at Atlantis Resort is the largest in the Caribbean and is open 24 hours. This Atlantis-themed space holds some 980 slot machines and 78 gaming tables including baccarat, roulette, craps, blackjack, and Caribbean stud poker.
The waterslides, pools, and beaches are free of charge for all guests of the Atlantis. Guests who care to have a swim-with-dolphins experience can find a facility where they can do so a short ferry ride away from Atlantis Resort.
